IMPORTANT:
INTAKE valve for Caterpillar C7.1 engines (7.01L, 6-cylinder, common rail). The Cat C7.1 IS the Perkins 1106D-70TA engine — internal components are identical. Requires 6 intake valves per engine. Do NOT confuse with C4.4 (4.4L, 4-cylinder) intake valves — the C7.1 is a completely different, larger engine. Also do NOT confuse with the older Cat C7 (ACERT) engine — the C7.1 is a Perkins-based design, while the C7 was a Cat-designed engine. They share nothing.
Fits Cat 320/320GC/323/326/330/330GC excavators, 950M/950GC/962M wheel loaders, and 140M3/150/160M3 motor graders. When replacing, inspect valve guides for wear and valve seats for pitting or recession. Replace valve stem seals. Check spring free length and installed pressure. Measure valve protrusion after installation. Adjust valve lash per service manual specs after reassembly.
⚠️ Confirm engine is C7.1 (Perkins 1106D) — NOT the older Cat C7 (ACERT).
