180°F thermostat ASSEMBLY for Cat 3054C/C3.3/C4.4 engines (Perkins 1104 equivalent). Fits Cat 414E/416D-F/420D-F backhoes and 312D/313D excavators. Multiple assemblies exist: 254-2267, 254-2268, 254-2269 — NOT interchangeable. Check Cat parts book by serial number.
Plastic housing is a known weak point — replace full assembly if cracked.
