This timing gear cover gasket fits Cat C4.4 and C6.6 engines, which are Perkins 1104/1106 series built under Caterpillar branding. Covers the earlier 3054C/3054E era machines as well. The timing cover uses multiple gaskets — this is one piece of the set. Verify which specific timing cover gasket your engine needs by matching the part number, not just the engine model.

Failure symptoms: oil weeping from the timing cover area at the front of the engine. When replacing, inspect the front crankshaft oil seal and replace if needed — the labor overlaps. Clean all old gasket material from the cover and block surfaces.
