IMPORTANT:
INTAKE valve for John Deere 4045 and 6068 PowerTech PSS/Plus engines (4-valve-per-cylinder design). Requires 8 per 4045 (4-cyl) engine or 12 per 6068 (6-cyl) engine. Do NOT confuse with exhaust valve R532049 — intake valves have a larger head diameter and different alloy. Fits 6R-series tractors (6105R-6195R), 326E/328E/332E skid steers, and 130G/160GLC/180GLC excavators with 4045/6068 engines.

When replacing, inspect valve guides for wear and valve seats for pitting or recession. Replace valve stem seals — reusing old seals causes oil consumption and blue smoke. Check valve spring free length and replace any out-of-spec springs. Measure valve protrusion after installation. On turbocharged engines, excessive intake valve recession reduces compression and causes hard starting.

⚠️ Order correct quantity: x8 for 4045, x12 for 6068.
