IMPORTANT:
This is a .015" OVERSIZE STEM exhaust valve for John Deere 6076 (7.6L) and 6081 (8.1L) engines. This is NOT a standard-size valve — it has an oversized stem diameter (.015" larger than standard) for engines where valve guides have been reamed to oversize during a rebuild. If your valve guides are standard (not recut), do NOT order this valve — you need standard-size exhaust valve R84619 instead. Ordering standard vs oversize is the #1 mistake with this part.

Requires 6 exhaust valves per engine (2-valve-per-cylinder design). The 6076 (7.6L) and 6081 (8.1L) share the same valves. Valve guides are reamed to oversize when worn beyond the standard service limit but the guide bore in the head is still usable. If guides have been replaced with new standard guides, use standard-size valves (R84619). Always measure guide bore diameter before ordering. Replace valve stem seals and check spring free length during any valve job. Exhaust valves see the highest thermal stress — inspect for heat cracking, tulip deformation, and face erosion on removed valves.
