IMPORTANT:
INTAKE valve for Caterpillar 3044C and 3044CT engines (3.3L, 4-cylinder). The Cat 3044C/T IS the Mitsubishi S4S engine — Cat 233-5469 directly cross-references to Mitsubishi 32A04-20100. If searching by Mitsubishi part number, the valve is identical. Requires 4 intake valves per engine. Do NOT confuse with exhaust valve 233-5470 (Mitsubishi 32A04-21100) — intake valves have a larger head diameter.

This engine is used in Cat skid steers (236B-299C), compact track loaders (267B-289C), small dozers (D3C/D3G-D5G), and mini excavators (304CR-305.5). Also appears in Cat-branded forklifts. The engine is also known as Cat C3.4 in some newer documentation. When replacing, inspect valve guides for wear, check seats for pitting, and replace valve stem seals. Adjust valve lash to spec after reassembly.
