PRODUCT DETAILS:
Replacement upper main bearing with seal for Mercury 1.5L Optimax 3-cylinder outboard motors in the 75 through 125 HP range from 2004 through 2014, also compatible with applicable Mariner outboard models. This bearing features an integrated seal that provides crankcase sealing at the upper main bearing position, eliminating the need for a separate seal component during engine rebuild. The Mercury Optimax 1.5L platform was one of the most popular mid-range outboard engine families, offering the power and lightweight advantages of 2-stroke technology with modern direct injection fuel delivery. Compatible with the 75 HP, 80 HP, 90 HP, 115 HP, and 125 HP variants of the 1.5L Optimax engine, all of which use the same crankshaft and bearing configuration with a 3.6255 inch bore. A failing upper main bearing typically presents as increased engine noise, vibration at certain RPM ranges, reduced power output, or oil leakage from the bearing seal area.
