This bearing kit replaces the original center main crankshaft bearing in Mercury 3-cylinder looper outboard engines manufactured from 1991 through 2000. The center main bearing operates at the middle crankshaft journal where it absorbs significant loads from the rotating crankshaft assembly in the 3-cylinder powerhead configuration. Manufactured to match or exceed specifications for proper fit and durability in the demanding marine outboard environment where corrosion and high RPM create extreme bearing loads. The needle roller bearing with outer race provides excellent load capacity and durability essential for the operation of Mercury 3-cylinder 2-stroke looper outboard engines.
