This bearing kit replaces the original center main crankshaft bearing in Mercury looper outboard engines manufactured from 1985 through 2005. The center main bearing operates at the middle crankshaft journal where it absorbs significant loads from the rotating crankshaft assembly in both 3-cylinder and 4-cylinder engine configurations. Manufactured to match or exceed specifications for proper fit and durability in the demanding marine outboard environment.
