• Differences from CRF450R: Enduro-tuned engine mapping, electric start, larger 8.5L fuel tank, lights and instruments, softer suspension, 18-inch rear wheel (vs 19" on the R)
• 2005 was the LAUNCH year of the CRF450X
• 2017 was the FINAL year — CRF450X discontinued in lineup after 2017
• 2-year gap years 2010-2011 are NOT covered (no CRF450X built in those years)
