Direct replacement oversize piston kit engineered for the Yamaha YZ450F 449cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC 5-valve motocross bike 2003-2009 and WR450F enduro 2003-2015. The 97mm piston provides a 2mm oversize option for cylinders that have been bored beyond the standard 95mm bore to restore proper piston-to-wall clearance and ring seal. Kit comes complete with forged aluminum alloy piston, precision-fitted piston rings, hardened wrist pin, and retaining circlips for a comprehensive top-end rebuild on the Yamaha YZ450F and WR450F. Precision machined on CNC equipment using premium forged aluminum alloy for reliable sealing and consistent power delivery in motocross and off-road racing conditions. The YZ450F and WR450F feature Yamaha's proven liquid-cooled DOHC engine with titanium valves and five-speed transmission providing competitive power for motocross and enduro. This piston kit is intended for use when the cylinder has been professionally bored and honed to 97mm during a top-end rebuild on all YZ450F and WR450F bikes.
