This 88mm bore cylinder sleeve with 7-port configuration is designed for the Sea-Doo personal watercraft powered by the BRP Rotax 947 (951cc) 2-cylinder 2-stroke engine. The cylinder sleeve is a precision-machined cast iron liner that presses into the aluminum cylinder casting to restore the cylinder bore when the original bore has become worn, scored, or damaged. Compatible with all Sea-Doo 951cc models from 1997 through 2002 including the GSX LTD, GTX, GTX LTD, LRV, RX, RX X, XP, and XP LTD personal watercraft. The 7-port design matches the original factory port layout for proper intake and exhaust timing in the high-performance Rotax 947 engine. The sleeve is supplied undersized and must be bored and honed to final dimensions after installation to achieve the correct piston-to-cylinder wall clearance. Professional machine shop installation is required for pressing the sleeve and boring to final specifications with proper crosshatch finish. Verify your engine model and bore size before ordering to ensure correct application.
