This 88mm bore cylinder sleeve with 6-port configuration is designed for the Sea-Doo personal watercraft powered by the BRP Rotax 947 DI (951cc) 2-cylinder 2-stroke direct injection engine. The cylinder sleeve is a precision-machined cast iron liner that presses into the aluminum cylinder casting to restore the cylinder bore when the original bore has become worn, scored, or damaged. Compatible with all Sea-Doo 951cc DI models from 2000 through 2003 including the GTX DI, LRV DI, RX DI, and XP DI personal watercraft. The 6-port design is specific to the direct injection version of the Rotax 947 engine and differs from the 7-port carbureted version, so correct identification is critical before ordering. The sleeve is supplied undersized and must be bored and honed to final dimensions after installation to achieve the correct piston-to-cylinder wall clearance. Professional machine shop installation is required for pressing the sleeve and boring to final specifications with proper crosshatch surface finish. Verify your engine model and port configuration before ordering to ensure correct application.
