This 82mm bore cylinder sleeve is designed for the Sea-Doo personal watercraft powered by the BRP Rotax 787 (782cc/800cc) 2-cylinder 2-stroke engine. The cylinder sleeve is a precision-machined cast iron liner that presses into the aluminum cylinder casting to restore the cylinder bore when the original bore has become worn, scored, or damaged. Compatible with all Sea-Doo 800cc models from 1995 through 1999 including the GSX, GTX, SPX, and XP personal watercraft equipped with the Rotax 787 engine. The sleeve is supplied undersized and must be bored and honed to final dimensions after installation to achieve the correct piston-to-cylinder wall clearance. Proper cylinder bore condition is essential for maintaining compression and oil control in the high-performance 2-stroke Rotax 787 engine where the piston rings must seal against both combustion gases and the crankcase charge. Professional machine shop installation is required for pressing the sleeve into the cylinder and boring to final specifications with proper crosshatch surface finish. Verify your engine model and bore size before ordering to ensure correct application.
