This 82mm bore cylinder sleeve is designed for the Sea-Doo personal watercraft powered by the BRP Rotax 787 RFI (782cc/800cc) 2-cylinder 2-stroke fuel injected engine. The cylinder sleeve is a precision-machined cast iron liner that presses into the aluminum cylinder casting to restore the cylinder bore when the original bore has become worn, scored, or damaged. Compatible with all Sea-Doo 800cc RFI models from 1998 through 2003 including the GSX RFI, GTI LE RFI, and GTX RFI personal watercraft. The RFI (Rotax Fuel Injection) version of the 787 engine uses a different cylinder port configuration than the carbureted version, requiring this specific sleeve for proper port alignment. The sleeve is supplied undersized and must be bored and honed to final dimensions after installation to achieve the correct piston-to-cylinder wall clearance. Professional machine shop installation is required for pressing the sleeve into the cylinder and boring to final specifications with proper crosshatch surface finish. Verify your engine model and bore size before ordering to ensure correct application.
