Yamaha GP1300R Top End Gasket Kit
Top end gasket kit for the 2005-2008 Yamaha GP1300R personal watercraft equipped with the 1296cc 2-stroke 3-cylinder triple engine featuring an 84mm bore and 78mm stroke with CDI ignition and electronic fuel injection producing 170 horsepower. This top end gasket kit includes all the gaskets needed for cylinder head and top end service including head gaskets base gaskets and exhaust gaskets. The 2005 and later GP1300R models feature a non-power-valve engine design with slightly higher compression for improved reliability and output. The high performance 2-stroke marine engine operates under severe thermal cycling which degrades gasket materials over time. Replacing all top end gaskets ensures proper sealing and prevents compression leaks. Always clean all mating surfaces thoroughly before installing new gaskets and torque all fasteners to factory specification.
