Yamaha 700 Top End Gasket Kit
Top end gasket kit for Yamaha 700 series personal watercraft equipped with the 701cc 2-stroke 2-cylinder twin engine featuring an 81mm bore and 68mm stroke with CDI ignition and oil injection. This kit includes all gaskets needed for a top end rebuild including head gaskets and base gaskets. The 700 engine platform was used in numerous popular Yamaha models from the Super Jet to the Wave Blaster FX-1 and XL 700. The 2-stroke marine engine operates under severe thermal cycling which degrades gasket materials over time. Replace all top end gaskets during a rebuild for proper sealing. Clean all mating surfaces before installing new gaskets and torque fasteners to specification.
