⚠️ SERPENTINE BELT ENGINES ONLY:
• This alternator carries a 6 groove serpentine pulley, 63 mm OD
• MerCruiser moved to serpentine drive on the late GM engines
• The earlier V belt engines take a single groove alternator
• Count the ribs on your belt before ordering, this one needs six
• A single V groove on your old pulley means the V belt build

HOW TO VERIFY FIT:
• Count the ribs on the pulley, this unit has 6 grooves
• Measure the pulley OD, this unit is 63 mm and solid
• Confirm a 2 inch mounting foot with one 5/16-18 threaded hole
• Confirm the second hole is 3/8 in and unthreaded
• Confirm the regulator is internal and the fan is external
• Output is 100 amps, the original was 55 or 66 amps
