WHY THE SMART AND MITSUBISHI SHARE THIS ALTERNATOR:
The Smart ForFour 454 was built on the Mitsubishi Colt platform at the NedCar plant in the Netherlands under the DaimlerChrysler and Mitsubishi partnership. That is why Mercedes-Benz carries its own numbers, 1351540102 and 1351540202, for the same Mitsuba alternator that Mitsubishi lists as A005TG0091

FITMENT NOTES:
• 12 VOLT, 85 amp, clockwise rotation, internal regulator and internal fan
• PULLEY IS AN S5 CLASS 5-GROOVE SERPENTINE and is supplied fitted. Count the grooves on your original before ordering
• Mitsuba lists this alternator both with and without the leading zeros, as A005TG0091 and as A5TG0091. The suffixes A, AE, AM, BE and ZE denote production revisions of the same unit and are all covered
• The Colt VI covers chassis codes Z2_A and Z3_A. The Colt CZC convertible is chassis RG. The Lancer VIII is CY_A and CZ_A, and the Sportback is CX_A
• SMART FORFOUR YEARS — the 454 generation ForFour was built from 2004 to 2006 only. It was not produced from 2007 to 2013. The ForFour returned as the 453 in 2014 with a completely different platform and a different alternator
• The 1.5 turbo 4G15T fitted to the Colt CZT and CZC Turbo uses this same alternator despite the higher output engine
