FITMENT NOTES:
• NEW AFTERMARKET PART — this is not an OEM McLaren component. It is built as a direct replacement to the original Valeo specification
• 220 amp output at 12 volts, regulated at 14 volts
• Valeo is the original equipment alternator manufacturer for these cars, which is why the Valeo FG23S036 and 2608991 numbers cross to the McLaren number
• McLaren 11F0190CP is superseded by 1211F1866CP. Cars carrying either number are covered
• The 3.8 litre M838T and the 4.0 litre M840T share this alternator, which is why one part serves the 12C through to the 720S
• Confirm the number on the original alternator before ordering. McLaren revised the charging system across the model run and later cars may carry a different unit
• MCLAREN P1 NOT LISTED — the P1 uses a hybrid powertrain with its own electrical architecture. One supplier lists this alternator against the P1 but that fitment is unconfirmed, so it has been left out
• NOT for McLaren Artura — that model uses the M630 twin-turbo V6 hybrid powertrain
