IMPORTANT:
R50152 is one of SEVERAL wet brake discs used in the JD 40/42/44/45/46-series and 84/86-series tractors. Other discs for the same models include R78430, R62686, R26767, and RE29815 — each serves a different position in the brake stack. These are NOT interchangeable. Match your old disc to the R50152 OEM number before ordering.

These tractors had BOTH wet and dry brake options. If yours has drum brakes (external shoes at axle), you need pads (R110464 or R111122). Sold individually; each axle uses a multi-disc stack. Count friction discs per side before ordering. Symptoms: spongy pedal, pedal fading to floor, extended stopping distance, hot axle housings. Replace all friction and separator discs as a set. Inspect piston seals and housing bore.
