300 inch-pound tension rating — sits between RE518097 (200 in-lb) and RE57498 (400 in-lb). Using the wrong tension rating is the #1 ordering mistake with JD belt tensioners and will cause belt slip or bearing damage. Supersedes RE37981. Cross-references New Holland 86013886.

Covers 7600/7700/7800 series tractors, 9100-9400 4WD tractors, 9000 series combines, T-series European combines, motor graders, forestry equipment, and cotton pickers. Fits 6076, 4045, 6068, 6081 PowerTech engines.

Failure symptoms: belt squeal, alternator undercharging, water pump slip. Replace belt with tensioner.
