IMPORTANT:
CYLINDER #4 HIGH-PRESSURE line for the Perkins 404C-22/404D-22 (Cat 3024/C2.2). This delivers fuel from injection pump to injector — NOT a low-pressure leak-off pipe (U31607080 or Cat 486-8879). Each cylinder has unique bends — NOT interchangeable between positions.
Cat equivalents: 217-2760 thru 217-2763. Both sets fit the same engine — use whichever matches your engine data plate (Perkins vs Cat). Lines are the same regardless of machine brand (Cat, JCB, Bobcat).
The Perkins 404C-22 is a DIFFERENT engine from the Perkins 804C-33, despite both being 2.2L Perkins diesels. Do NOT cross-reference 404C and 804C line sets — different pumps and routing.
Symptoms: fuel weeping, diesel odor, single-cylinder misfire. Use flare-nut wrenches. Bleed fuel system thoroughly — this small engine is hard to restart if not properly bled.
