Timing Gear Cover Gasket Compatible With Perkins 1103C-33/1104C-44/1104D-44 2000-2015 1100 Series

IMPORTANT:
Perkins 3681P046 is a timing gear cover gasket for the Perkins 1100 series (1103C/1104C/1104D). Cat equivalent is 225-8287. This is a different timing cover gasket than 3681P054 or 3681P047 — the 1100 series timing cover uses multiple gasket pieces and they are NOT interchangeable between positions. The #1 ordering mistake is ordering the wrong timing cover gasket piece.

Perkins 1100 series = Cat 3054C/C4.4 — same engine family, different branding. Found in Massey Ferguson tractors, Cat backhoe loaders, JCB equipment, and many industrial applications. Failure symptoms: oil seeping from the front timing cover. When replacing, inspect the front crankshaft seal and timing cover O-rings. Clean all old gasket material completely from both surfaces.
