IMPORTANT:
This wet brake disc spans three generations: 4000/4020 (1969+), 4030/4040 (1972-1982), and 4050/4055 (1983-1991). These models were available with BOTH wet and dry brake systems. If your tractor has drum brakes (external shoes at the axle), this disc does not apply — you need pads (R110464 or R111122). Wet vs dry brake confusion is the #1 ordering mistake on these models.

Multiple discs fit the 4000-4055 range — R78430, R62686, R50152, R26767, RE29815 serve different positions in the brake assembly. Match your old disc to the correct OEM number. Sold individually; each axle uses a multi-disc stack. Symptoms: spongy pedal, pedal fading to floor, extended stopping distance under load. Replace all friction and separator discs as a set. Inspect piston seals and housing bore.
