Timing Gear Cover Gasket Compatible With Caterpillar 320/320Gc/323/326F 2012-Present C4.4/C6.6/C7.1

IMPORTANT:
Cat 319-9361 is the REAR SIDE timing gear cover gasket for Cat C4.4/C6.6/C7.1 engines (2012+ models). Perkins equivalent is T405410. Do NOT confuse with the front side gaskets (Cat 335-5330/348-9985). The timing cover uses separate front and rear gaskets — ordering the wrong side is the #1 mistake.

Failure symptoms: oil seeping from the timing cover area at the front of the engine. On Cat excavators and backhoes, timing cover leaks can be difficult to distinguish from valve cover or oil pan leaks due to oil running down the block. Clean the engine thoroughly and re-inspect to pinpoint the leak source before disassembly. When replacing, inspect the front crankshaft seal and any O-rings in the timing cover. Clean all mating surfaces — composite gasket residue must be completely removed for a proper seal.
