IMPORTANT:
This is an INTAKE MANIFOLD gasket for the John Deere 6090 PowerTech Plus engine (9.0L 6-cyl). It seals the intake manifold to the cylinder head. Do NOT confuse with exhaust manifold gaskets or valve cover gaskets — completely different parts. Fits 8130/8230/8330/8430 tractors and 9660/9760STS combines with the 6090 PowerTech Plus engine.

Failure symptoms: air leak/whistling at the manifold joint, loss of boost pressure, rough idle, reduced power, or soot deposits around the intake manifold flanges. On turbocharged engines, even a small intake manifold leak can affect performance significantly. When replacing, clean both the manifold and head gasket surfaces thoroughly. Inspect the manifold for warping — a warped manifold will not seal properly even with a new gasket. Torque manifold bolts in the sequence specified in the JD service manual.
