IMPORTANT:
This valve cover gasket fits the Perkins 804C-33/804D-33 engine — a compact 1.5L 3-cylinder diesel. Cat equivalent engine designation is 3013C (C1.5). Found in Cat 301.8C/302.5C mini excavators and other compact equipment. This is a small engine family and there are very few gasket variants — but confirm the engine model is 804C or 804D before ordering as other Perkins 800 series engines use different valve cover gaskets.

Failure symptoms: oil seeping from the valve cover, oil dripping onto the exhaust manifold. The rubber gasket hardens from heat cycling over time. When replacing, clean both the valve cover and cylinder head mating surfaces. Inspect the valve cover for warping — on a small engine like this, even slight warping will cause a persistent leak. Torque bolts evenly per the service manual.
