IMPORTANT:
LOWER thermostat (180°F) for JD 6135 13.5L engines. This engine uses TWO thermostats — upper (RE527611) and lower (RE527612). The #1 mistake: ordering only one when both should be replaced together. Fits 9030/9R Series tractors and S-Series combines.
Failure symptoms: uneven engine temps, overcooling at idle, slow warmup in cold weather. A stuck-open lower stat lets coolant bypass the radiator continuously.
⚠️ Replace BOTH upper and lower thermostats together.
