IMPORTANT:
Engine OIL PRESSURE sensor for Cat C4.4/C7.1 ACERT engines (2014-2021 Tier 4 Final applications). Do NOT confuse with the fuel rail pressure sensor (238-0118) or the earlier oil pressure sensor 278-5273 used on pre-2014 C4.4 engines. 320-3064 is the Tier 4 Final replacement — it is NOT backwards-compatible with Tier 3/Tier 4i machines that use 278-5273, even though both are 3-pin M10x1.0 sensors. The ECU calibration is different between emission tiers.

Failure symptoms: low oil pressure warning, engine derate or protective shutdown, erratic oil pressure gauge readings, and ECU fault codes. On F2-series backhoe loaders (416F2/420F2/430F2), the oil pressure sensor also feeds data to the engine protection system — a failed sensor can trigger unnecessary shutdowns that mimic actual low oil pressure. Before replacing the sensor, check connector pins for corrosion and verify actual oil pressure with a mechanical gauge to rule out a genuine lubrication problem.
