IMPORTANT:
Coolant temperature sensor for Perkins 1103/1104 engines (3.3L/4.4L, 2002-2020 applications). Uses 2-pin M14x1.5 thread. There are MULTIPLE Perkins coolant temp sensors with M14x1.5 thread — 2848A126, 2848A121, 2848A127, and 2848A129 cover different engine families and have different NTC resistance curves. They will physically thread in and plug in but give INCORRECT temperature readings if mismatched. Order by part number, not by thread size and connector type.

Failure symptoms: inaccurate temperature gauge, fan control malfunction, cold-start issues, excessive black smoke during warm-up, and ECU fault codes. The Perkins 1103/1104 engine family is used across dozens of OEM equipment brands (Cat, JCB, Massey Ferguson, AGCO). Always verify by Perkins engine serial number, not just the equipment make and model. Use a new sealing washer during installation.
