CATERPILLAR BACKHOE LOADERS:
• Caterpillar 416E/420E/430E/432E/434E C4.4 4.4L Diesel (2008-2014)
• Caterpillar 444E C4.4 4.4L Diesel (2008-2014)
CATERPILLAR WHEEL LOADERS:
• Caterpillar 924H/930H C6.6 6.6L Diesel (2007-2014)
IMPORTANT:
Engine OIL PRESSURE sensor for Cat C4.4/C6.6 engines (2008-2014 Tier 3/Tier 4i applications). Do NOT confuse with 320-3064 which is the Tier 4 Final replacement for 2014+ machines, or with 274-6721 used on earlier 3054C engines. These three oil pressure sensors share the same M10x1.0 thread and 3-pin connector but have different calibrations — they are NOT interchangeable across emission tiers.
Failure symptoms: oil pressure warning light, engine derate, erratic gauge readings, and ECU fault codes. On E-series backhoe loaders and wheel loaders, a failing sensor often causes intermittent low oil pressure warnings at hot idle that disappear at higher RPM. Before replacing, check actual oil pressure with a mechanical gauge. If actual pressure is normal but the warning persists, the sensor or its wiring has failed. Inspect the connector for oil debris and corrosion — the M10 port can weep oil onto the connector.
⚠️ Verify emission tier (Tier 3/4i) and machine serial number before ordering.
