Fuel transfer pump serving THREE Cat engine families: 3054, C3.3, and C4.4. This broad compatibility is the #1 source of ordering confusion — verify by part number, not engine family. Applications include backhoe loaders (416B/416C/414E), telehandlers, and power generation equipment.
Cat 3054 = Perkins 1004 (same engine platform). Perkins cross-references may exist for 1004 applications. Failure symptoms: hard starting, fuel weeping from pump body, engine dying under load, loss of prime overnight. Cam-lobe driven mechanical design. Inspect cam lobe for flat spots during replacement. Weight: 1.6 lbs. Replace mounting gasket and prime system before first start.
