IMPORTANT:
Oil pump for Cat 3034C — also known as Perkins 704-30 (3.0L/3.3L 4-cylinder). Supersedes 153-0980. Found in Cat 216-287 skid steers, 302.5-308 mini excavators, and Terex/ASV compact loaders. This engine was used across more Cat compact equipment models than any other — verify by engine serial number, not machine model.

Gerotor type, flange-mounted. Failure symptoms: low hot idle pressure, metallic whine from pump, intermittent low-pressure shutdowns during tight turns on skid steers (oil aeration). If problem occurs only during aggressive operation, check oil level and pickup tube positioning first. Replace gasket and inspect pickup screen.

⚠️ Fits Cat 3034C / Perkins 704-30. Verify engine serial number.
