IMPORTANT:
TIER 2/3 variant mechanical fuel transfer pump — significantly heavier (5 lbs) than standard 4045/6068 pumps. The extra weight indicates different internal construction for emissions-compliant engines. Cross-references DZ120069, DZ110616, DZ117587 — all the same pump.
For JD 5085M/5100M/5115M tractors (2008-2016) with 4045T/H PowerTech 4.5L engines. Failure symptoms: hard starting, power loss, rough idle, stalling. Do NOT substitute a lighter standard pump — the Tier 2/3 pump has different flow and pressure characteristics. Also cross-references RE38009 for some applications — verify by serial number.
⚠️ Confirm Tier 2/3 engine designation — standard pumps are NOT equivalent.
