Mechanical fuel transfer pump for Cat 3044C engine — which is actually a Mitsubishi S4S-DT turbocharged diesel (3.331L, 80hp @ 2600rpm). Understanding this Mitsubishi origin is key for cross-referencing. Also sold as Cat 234-0378 and MP10325 (Perkins designation).
Comes with fitting, filter element, retaining ring, and bowl assembly — this is a kit, not pump alone. Failure symptoms: hard starting, poor fuel delivery, air in system, loss of power in skid steer operations. Used in Cat 236B/246B/248B/252B/257B/262B/267B skid steers (2004-2011) and equivalent compact loaders. The 3044C/S4S engine is extremely sensitive to fuel quality — drain water separator regularly.
