IMPORTANT:
Stanadyne DE2 injection pump for 6068H (higher-tier PowerTech 6.8L 6-cyl) engines. NOT for 6068T or 6068D — use RE518164 instead. The H vs T/D distinction is the #1 ordering mistake. The 6068H runs higher boost and different injection timing for emissions compliance. Used primarily in construction and industrial equipment: engine power units (6068HBM/HCQ/HF designations).
Failure symptoms: hard starting, power loss under load, rough running, black smoke, fuel knock, intermittent stalling. Stanadyne pumps are lubricated by fuel — never run dry. Replace fuel filters before installation and bleed all air from the system. Stanadyne DE2635-6237 is the manufacturer designation.
⚠️ Check engine nameplate for 6068H designation before ordering.
