The Mercury 6-cylinder 2.875 bore 90 HP had the longest production run in this family, spanning from 1978 through 1996, making this one of the most commonly needed powerhead bearings for vintage Mercury outboards. the 4-cylinder 2.875 bore 75 and 85 HP models, the 6-cylinder cross flow 115, 135, 140, and 150 HP engines, and the 6-cylinder 3.125 bore 2-liter 135 and 150 HP powerheads.
