PRODUCT DETAILS:
Direct replacement lower rod bearing for connecting rod service in Mercury, Mariner, Johnson, Evinrude, and Chrysler/Force 2-stroke outboard engines from 20HP through 150HP. This bearing replaces the original connecting rod lower bearing that rides on the crankshaft journal in a wide range of 2-stroke outboard engines from multiple manufacturers. Manufactured to match or exceed specifications for proper fit and durability in the demanding marine outboard environment where saltwater and high RPM create extreme bearing loads. Fits Johnson/Evinrude cross flow models from 1976, looper models, and V4/V6 configurations, as well as Mercury cross flow and looper engines and Chrysler/Force outboards. A worn or damaged connecting rod bearing can cause excessive crankshaft play, knocking, and eventual engine failure if not replaced during rebuild. Confirm your engine model and part number before purchasing to verify proper fitment.
PRODUCT NOTICE:
As a parts distributor we mostly sell aftermarket parts (any OEM parts would be noted as such). Aftermarket parts are not sourced from the original vehicle or equipment manufacturer, but are designed to function the same as - if not better than - the original. All parts sold are new.
