Description

UNIVERSAL MARINE WIRE — 14 AWG PINK TINNED COPPER PRIMARY WIRE 100 FT SPOOL:

ABYC E-11 STANDARD — PINK COLOR USE (FUEL GAUGE SENDER TO GAUGE):
Per ABYC E-11 marine electrical standards (Table XIV — Engine and Accessory Wiring Color Code), PINK color wire is specifically designated for fuel gauge sender to gauge signal wiring. This 14 AWG pink marine wire is intended for the variable-resistance signal connection between the fuel tank float/sender unit and the dashboard fuel gauge.

COMMON 14 AWG PINK MARINE FUEL SENDER APPLICATIONS:
• Fuel Tank Sender to Dashboard Gauge Signal Wire (Primary ABYC Use)
• Single-Tank Fuel Sender Wiring (Most Common Installation)
• Multi-Tank Fuel Sender Wiring (Port Tank, Starboard Tank, Aux Tank)
• Fuel Level Sender Extension/Replacement Wiring
• Diesel Tank Level Sender Signal Wire
• Generator Fuel Level Sender to Generator Gauge
• Holding Tank Level Sender (Where Pink is Used)
• Fresh Water Tank Level Sender (Where Pink is Used)
• Fuel Reserve Gauge Wiring
• Outboard Fuel Sender Harness Extension and Repair
• Inboard/Sterndrive Fuel Tank Sender Wiring
• Aftermarket Fuel Gauge Installation Sender Run
• Bass Boat Multiple Tank Fuel Monitoring
• Houseboat and Cruiser Fuel System Gauge Wiring
• OEM Fuel Gauge Wiring Replacement and Repair

SIGNAL WIRE NOTE:
Fuel sender wires carry low-current signals (milliamps) representing the variable resistance from the fuel tank float (typically 0-30, 0-90, 33-240, 240-33, or 10-180 ohm range depending on sender type). 14 AWG is more than sufficient for the signal current — gauge selection prioritizes durability, abrasion resistance, and consistency with other harness wires rather than ampacity.

COMPATIBLE FUEL SENDER TYPES:
• Float Arm Style Fuel Senders (Most Common Marine Type)
• Capacitive Tube Fuel Senders
• Reed Switch Fuel Senders
• Marine SAE J1810 Compliant Senders
• 240-33 ohm American Standard (Faria, VDO, Beede)
• 33-240 ohm European Standard (Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki Outboards)
• 0-90 ohm GM/Mercury Marine Standard
• 10-180 ohm Ford Industrial Standard

COMPATIBLE VESSEL TYPES:
• All Powerboats — Center Console, Cuddy Cabin, Express Cruiser, Walk-Around
• All Sailboats with Auxiliary Engines and Fuel Tanks
• Pontoon Boats and Houseboats
• Bass Boats and Bay Boats with Multiple Fuel Tanks
• Outboard Motor Fuel Sender Harness Repairs
• Sterndrive and Inboard Engine Fuel Tank Sender Wiring

STANDARDS COMPLIANCE:
• UL Listed UL1426 Boat Cable Standard
• ABYC E-11 Compliant (American Boat & Yacht Council)
• United States Coast Guard (USCG) Specifications
• Made in USA

FITMENT NOTE:
Universal marine fuel sender signal wire — fits any marine application requiring 14 AWG pink fuel gauge sender conductor. Not vehicle-specific. Per ABYC E-11 Table XIV, pink is specifically designated for fuel gauge sender to gauge signal wiring. This is a signal wire (milliamps) and should not be used for power feeds or current-carrying conductors. For positive 12V power feeds use red, for DC negative use yellow or black.
