This outer race replaces the original hardened steel bearing race at the center main crankshaft journal in Mercury V6 3.0L outboard engines across multiple fuel delivery platforms. The outer race is the stationary component of the center main bearing assembly against which the loose needle rollers rotate, providing the critical bearing surface for crankshaft support. Manufactured to match or exceed specifications for proper fit and surface hardness required in high-performance V6 marine outboard engines. Fits Mercury 3.0L V6 carbureted models from 1994 through 2001, EFI models through 2008, Optimax models through 2018, and Pro XS models through 2010.
