This center main bearing fits Mercury and Mariner 6-cylinder 2-stroke outboard motors across the 2L, 2.4L, 2.5L, and 3L engine families from 1990 through 2018. Covers the full range of Mercury V6 2-stroke configurations including EFI, Optimax direct injection, Pro Max racing, Pro XS performance, Sport Jet, XR6, and XS models from 105 through 240 HP. The center main bearing supports the crankshaft at the center of the powerhead and is critical for maintaining proper crankshaft alignment across all six cylinders. A worn center main bearing causes engine noise, vibration, power loss, and can lead to powerhead damage if not replaced during rebuild.
