This crankshaft bearing is designed for the PTO (Power Take-Off) side of Yamaha 2-stroke engines covering 800cc, 1200cc, and 1300cc models from 1998 through 2008. The bearing fits the GP and GP-R performance PWC series, the XL and XLT touring and sport series, and the XR 1800 jet boat with 1200cc engine. The PTO side bearing supports the crankshaft at the output end where engine power is transmitted to the jet pump drive shaft for watercraft propulsion. The GP-R 1300 was the final and most powerful model in this engine family, produced from 2003 through 2008 with the largest displacement in the Yamaha 2-stroke PWC lineup. A worn crankshaft bearing causes increased engine noise, vibration, power loss, and can lead to catastrophic engine failure if not replaced during rebuild.
