This piston kit is a direct replacement for the Yamaha YZ250 motocross bike 1999-2025, YZ250X cross country 2016-2025, and Suzuki RM250 motocross 2003-2012 with the 249cc liquid-cooled 2-stroke reed-valve single-cylinder engine. The 66.35mm Size A piston is designed for the standard 66.4mm cylinder bore providing factory-specified piston-to-wall clearance for optimal ring seal and compression in the high-revving YZ250 and RM250 2-stroke engine. Each kit includes cast aluminum alloy piston, precision-fitted piston ring, hardened wrist pin, and retaining circlips for all Yamaha YZ250 YZ250X and Suzuki RM250 applications. Manufactured using low-expansion piston alloy and precision machined on CNC equipment for consistent dimensions and reliable performance in motocross and off-road racing conditions. The YZ250 features a liquid-cooled 2-stroke engine with YPVS power valve and five-speed transmission for competitive motocross racing. Installs directly into the standard 66.4mm cylinder bore without modifications for piston replacement or top-end rebuild on all YZ250 YZ250X and RM250 motocross bikes.
