This new crankshaft is designed for the BRP Rotax 1503cc 4-TEC 3-cylinder 4-stroke engine used in Sea-Doo personal watercraft and jet boats from 2003 through 2005. The crankshaft is manufactured to specifications ensuring proper bearing journal dimensions and crankpin alignment for reliable engine operation in the Rotax 1503cc 4-TEC powerplant. The Rotax 1503cc 4-TEC engine was introduced in 2003 as the first 4-stroke engine in the Sea-Doo lineup and was available in naturally aspirated, supercharged, and supercharged intercooled configurations. The GTX, GTX S/C, GTX LTD S/C, and GTX WAKE were touring-oriented PWC models while the RXP and RXT were performance-oriented platforms. The Challenger S/C 215, Speedster 200, Sportster 155, and Sportster S/C 215 were jet boats powered by the same 1503cc engine. All 2003 through 2005 models share the same crankshaft regardless of supercharger configuration.
