The precision-manufactured crankshaft delivers reliable crank rotation with proper bearing journal fitment and crankpin alignment for consistent engine operation in the Rotax 1503cc 4-TEC powerplant. The 2003 through 2005 model years represent the first generation of the Rotax 4-TEC engine platform in Sea-Doo watercraft. The naturally aspirated models included the GTX, GTX STD, and Sportster 155 while the supercharged variants included the GTX S/C, GTX LTD S/C, RXP S/C, and Challenger S/C 215. The GTX LTD SCIC and RXP introduced the supercharged intercooled configuration in 2005. All variants share the same crankshaft design.
