This 82mm bore cylinder sleeve is designed for the Sea-Doo personal watercraft powered by the BRP Rotax 787 RFI (782cc/800cc) 2-cylinder 2-stroke fuel injected engine in the 2004-2005 model years. The cylinder sleeve is a precision-machined cast iron liner that presses into the aluminum cylinder casting to restore the cylinder bore when the original bore has become worn, scored, or damaged. Compatible with the Sea-Doo 3D RFI, GTI LE RFI, and GTI RFI models from 2004 through 2005 equipped with the late-production Rotax 787 RFI engine. The 2004-2005 RFI engine uses a different cylinder port configuration than earlier RFI models, requiring this specific sleeve for proper port alignment and timing. The sleeve is supplied undersized and must be bored and honed to final dimensions after installation to achieve the correct piston-to-cylinder wall clearance. Professional machine shop installation is required for pressing the sleeve into the cylinder and boring to final specifications with proper crosshatch surface finish. Verify your engine model and year before ordering to ensure correct application.
