PRODUCT DETAILS:
This 84mm bore cylinder sleeve is designed for the Yamaha personal watercraft powered by the 1131cc 3-cylinder 2-stroke non-power valve engine with 84mm bore and 68mm stroke. The cylinder sleeve is a precision-machined cast iron liner that presses into the aluminum cylinder casting to restore the cylinder bore when the original bore has become worn, scored, or damaged. Compatible with the Yamaha GP 1200 from 1997 through 1999, the LS 2000 from 1999 through 2003, and the XL 1200 from 1998 equipped with the non-power valve 3-cylinder 2-stroke engine. The sleeve is supplied undersized and must be bored and honed to final dimensions after installation to achieve the correct piston-to-cylinder wall clearance. Professional machine shop installation is required for pressing the sleeve into the cylinder and boring to final specifications with proper crosshatch surface finish. Verify your engine model and bore size before ordering to ensure correct application.
