12V Starter Motor — Suzuki DF40 DF50 DF60 DF70 Outboard
New 12-volt starter for Suzuki 4-stroke marine outboard engines. The PMDD permanent magnet direct drive design matches the original Hitachi starter specification for the DF40 and DF50 49.7CI 3-cylinder engines and the DF60 and DF70 79.2CI 4-cylinder engines. Counterclockwise rotation with 8-tooth pinion ensures correct flywheel engagement. Features three M8-1.25 threaded mounting ears with two additional M8-1.25 threaded holes in the CE housing. The 5-pound unit provides a direct drop-in replacement with no modifications to the electrical system or mounting brackets. Replaces Suzuki 31100-99E-00 and Hitachi S114-671A.
