12V Starter — Suzuki DF60T DF70T DF40 DF50 4-Stroke Outboard
Direct replacement starter for Suzuki 4-stroke outboard motors in the 40-70 HP range. This PMDD starter is engineered for the DF60T and DF70T 79.2 cubic inch 4-cylinder engines as well as the smaller DF40 and DF50 49.7 cubic inch 3-cylinder engines. The permanent magnet construction eliminates field windings for a lighter and more compact unit compared to conventional starters. Counterclockwise rotation, 8-tooth pinion, 1.102-inch gear OD, and M8-1.25 threaded mounting ears. Common failure symptoms on Suzuki 4-stroke outboards include slow cranking, clicking relays, and intermittent engagement. Replaces Hitachi S114-671A.
